A fifth generation winemaker building something of his own.
Fred Morris Wines is built on family, patience, and a deep respect for the land. Our story begins in Rutherglen, Victoria, where the Morris family has tended vines for many generations. Fred Morris is a fifth generation Morris family winemaker, who continues the traditions passed down to him while bringing his own steady, thoughtful approach to the craft. This vineyard was established from the ground up 25 years ago and shaped by his hands and vision ever since.

Our Philosophy
We keep things simple. The vineyard is dry grown and biodynamic, relying on natural preparations and seasonal rhythms rather than shortcuts. This approach asks more of us, but it gives more back. Our fruit gives genuine character and wines that speak clearly of where they come from.
How We Work
Every vine is hand tended. Every harvest is handpicked. Every wine is made in small batches. It’s a slower way of working, but it keeps us close to the process and ensures that nothing is rushed or overlooked.
